A 19 year old girl has recently suffered from an allergic reaction to HD eyebrow treatment. The girl from Buckinghamshire, underwent eyebrow waxing, threading and dye to achieve the popular “HD” look of thicker eyebrows.

Just hours after the treatment the dance student noticed her eyebrows appeared red and had started to itch. The next day she could barely open her eyes as they had become swollen due to the reaction. Her eyebrows were weeping and had scabs on them.

The girl was in pain and had no choice but to go to the hospital to which doctors diagnosed a severe allergic reaction to the dye used during the HD eyebrow treatment. She was prescribed antibiotics, steroids and anti-histamines.

Weeks after the incident the girl stated that her eyebrows looked different as some of her hairs had fallen out. She was horrified by what had happened and she claimed it not only affected her physical appearance but her emotional well-being. She stated she would hide away from people as she felt very self-conscious about her appearance.

If you have suffered from an allergic reaction to an eyebrow treatment you may be entitled to compensation.
